Abstract: This presentation was based on one key element my PhD research which is entitled 'Mothering with mental illness: A constructivist grounded theory study of gender, identity and connectedness in personal recovery'. The 20 minute presentation considered the findings relating to the concept of connectedness, and the implications for practice in the range of sectors from mothers with mental illness may seek support.
