Rob Knowles MLC, Minister for Health, officially opened the new fifteen bed $2.5M acute psychiatric unit situated opposite the main Hospital campus along with the Camperdown Community Psychiatric Centre, constructed at a cost of $206,000 in Scott Street, Camperdown. Both new facilities greatly assisting with the provision of patient care". (Warrnambool & District Base Hospital 1996-1997 Annual Report). |
